Bombony

Bombony is a Portuguese artist of Ukrainian origin, based in Lisbon. She works in different media, in a visual language rooted in architecture. Her volumes communicate relationships, situations, or personal experiences, but remain open to interpretation—or to meaning nothing at all.

She works with geometry, but breaks its rules, allowing it to twist, move, and soften. In her works, layers interact with light, the soft becomes rigid, and geometry encounters gravity, becoming what it wants to be.
